I was just cruising through the Jerusalem Post and found this article from this morning. Apparently President Bush has given the 'amber light' to Israel about an Iranian conflict- meaning that Israel should put everything in place and await the green light. The article also opines that the US wouldn't be able to help Israel if such an attack occurred, which perked my ears a bit. As we all know, the United States doesn't look to be included in any End Times theology and there can only be two reasons why that would be: 1) the US isn't powerful enough to help Israel, or 2) the US chooses not to help Israel. Interesting read...God is literally setting the stage here for some events that were foretold 3000 years ago.

If the US isn't powerful enough to help Israel, it will be because the US will have been made weak; most likely through a catastrophic attack on our electrical and communications (including network and satellite comms) infrastructure.
Last week's article on Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) weapons (see www.worldnetdaily.com) should send shivers down everyones' spines. This is not the stuff of science fiction. Iran has a fleet of merchant ships and has practiced firing ballistic missiles from the deck of such ships. With a range of a 1,200 miles, a benign looking merchant ship could launch an EMP weapon that is over Washington, DC in a matter of minutes. EMP weapons are a real threat, and not just from Iran. Iran's ally is Russia, which developed such capability during the Cold War.
What is the US doing to protect the home land regarding this threat? Who knows... likely not much. No mention of such a threat exists in the main stream media.
